The pies were great, the quiche was good but kinda greasy. The salad was not so good.

W O W........Croshaw's is the best thing about visiting St. George, Utah (errr, other than visiting the in-laws). They have a great selection of huge gourmet pies for under $10, an unbelievable deal for homemade pies! The crust is so flaky and fresh. We bought: Chocolate Pie........topped with meringue........chocolate goodness Lemon Pie.............lemon deliciously tart and tasty topped with heavenly meringue They sell quiche as well as soups, salads and sandwiches, which all looked good but my eyes for pies on this visit. Bottom line: Go and buy a pie or two, or three....

While visiting my son and his family in St George, I got a huge craving for LEMON MERINGUE PIE........I do this sometimes, but thankfully, not too often! Asked my daughter-in-law to take me to a bakery (I'm totally unfamiliar with the St G area) and she took me to Croshaws. One look and one whiff of the aromas and I was a goner! I bought a lot more than a lemon pie! I'm a terrific cook (patting self on back) and a pretty good baker, but they put me to shame. How wonderful it would be to have a Croshaws in the SE Denver Metro area......a good bakery is sorely NEEDED AND WANTED. I wonder if it's possible to talk them into it. COME ON YOU GUYS!!

Athletes, marathoners, triathletes, hikers, if you happen to end up in St George and you love lemon meringue pie, you have found it here. An absolutely lovable pie that you can buy a slice of, a whole pie, or mini-pie which is the equivalent of 2 slices. This place is an oasis in the St George desert of chain restaurants. GO HERE AND SMILE BIG. I give 4 stars because I didn't get to try all the others. I'm such a fool. P.s. it's quality pie for cheap!!!!

I second that review for the berry pie! It's epicness is in the crust! A definite stop if you're passing through town or are in the mood for feasting on baked goods that are worth the drive in itself. Those berry pies are killer indeed. As are most of the other pieces of pie/cake/cooooookies.

Tiny little shop and every table was full...was getting my food to go anyway. I got the chicken pot pie which had a delicious crust and all breast meat. Could have used some more veggies though...I also ordered the mini banana cream pie...also delicious! It was about $9 for the two little pies which I thought was a great deal!

Amazing boysenberry pie!

Me and a few friends stopped here on our way home from pine valley. All together we had coconut, cherry, rhubarb and chocolate. The coconut pie was a little sweet. Cherry rhubarb and chocolate was wonderful the crust was flakey and buttery. This place was very small like a mom and pops pie shop very cute place. That is very inexpensive.

This place is great and worth coming back to St George just for this! The girls are really nice and helpful! They didn't have French apple by the slice prepared so they offered to cut a whole pie for me. The prices are very reasonable and they have a great variety from fruit and cream pies! The strawberry rhubarb was great. A perfect balance of the two and nice light crust. The chocolate cream pie was good with the meringue topping she loved! Oh and don't forget the sprinkles. I like fruit pies better than cream but still good... They have pie by the slice, mini pies and whole pies. Definitely nice size mini pies to share! They also have sandwiches, quiche and pot pies which looked good and will have to try next time!

They have the best sour cream lemon pie. Their single serve chicken pot pie is one of the best that I have ever tried. They make it fresh everyday and usually sell out so I recommend that you get there between 11 and 12 if you want one.

Sandwiches: The sandwich-bread was really good and squishy and the toppings were very fresh, but a huge downer was the Miracle Whip. Maybe you can request Mayo, but let this be a warning to those of you who are on my Mayo team. Pies: I was really excited for the pies; pie is one of my favorite desserts!! We ordered slices of five different pies to share amongst our group: Banana, Chocolate, French Apple, Custard, and Sour Cream Lemon. The best one was the French Apple. The worst one was the Custard. The other three were okay, but we felt they were too gelatinous, like the texture of jello. Cute little locally-owned place, but not good enough that I would crave it. Nothing special.

Big selection, reasonably priced and yummy!

Lemon sour cream is off the hook. Try the coconut cream pie with cream rather than meringue!

This is one of my secret lunch spots. All of the food is good, but I recommend the Western BBQ Beef sandwich and a Chicken Pot Pie. Sometimes I swap the pot pie for an avocado and spout sandwich (add chicken).

Worth the visit, but Veyo is better. If I can say anything about Croshaw's it would be the crust seemed to be very flaky and delicious. If you are in the mood for pie and don't have time for Veyo. Stop on by I think you will like it. I would like to try it again. I was in a hurry and remembering I was very full. sometimes that can have an effect on experiences.

The best berry pie I've ever had! They have so many combos and flavors, some I've never thought of before! You can come here just to enjoy the smell of fresh baked pies. This place is one of St. George's gems if you're in the mood for some great dessert.

I stopped in to grab a slice of pie and ended up getting 2 slices. Walking in the inside decor looks older, but it was clean and they have tables if you want to eat inside. While the pies are Croshaw's claim to fame, they do have soups, salads and sandwiches on the menu. The glass case had several of the same 2 types of pie, so I asked one of the ladies behind the counter if they only had those flavors available by the slice since they had many more flavors on the menu than they had in the case. She told me that if they have it made then she will sell it by the slice. I asked if she had the "Sour Cream Apple" and she said yes, but that she would only sell the lemon flavor of the sour cream pies by the slice and I'd need to pay full price for the others. Really? She told me if they had it made that she would sell it to me by the slice, but clearly she just didn't want to do it or didn't take her time explaining the menu correctly. Priced at $2.69 each I ended up with a slice of "Sour Cream Lemon" and a slice of "French Apple Pie" to-go. The lady asked if I needed forks and put 2 of them along with some napkins on the bag. The French Apple was very good, but I would never eat it cold again. This pie needs to be heated up to properly enjoy. The amount of cinnamon and sugar on top was nice. The Sour Cream Lemon had a good flavor, but when I opened the container it was in, the pie looked like someone already took a bite. I feel the price for a slice of pie is very fair given that the pies are made from scratch and taste pretty good. I just don't like not getting a full slice. Not cool. I'd come back again to try some other stuff, but I'm in no rush. They do also have sugar-free pies and sell mini pies too. Call ahead if you want a certain pie made. Open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Ordered four pies to take to a relative's home in St. George, unfortunately when I arrived they were not completed. The people behind the counter are packing major attitude and act as if they are doing you a favor making the pies. They could not have been any slower to box the pies and complained about how they were too busy as it is. The key lime pie was not set so when it was sliced it simply went all over the place. If this review was for the pies alone it would have been four stars but with the rude employees it only get's three stars. The poepl behind the counter had me thinking of the soup episode of Sienfeld ...."No pie for you !!!"

Best pies in town! I get them every thanksgiving except when they run out! My favorite by far is the French Apple Pie! I love the topping! The pumpkin and very berry are delicious too!

The pies are awesome. So many flavors and types to choose from. Love their cherry pies. I would have to say the best pies in St. George.
(5)Kim W.
Pretty good pies. We tried the pot pie, which was a perfect size, good flavors. Also tried a slice of the chocolate pie and rhubarb. The rhubarb is far better, the chocolate was just too sweet, was a bit one dimensional compared to ones I've had in the past. Cute place though, very local, I would come back and try others next time I'm around and have a sweet craving!!
